Playing Final Fantasy 14 (a.k.a. FFXIV) can be really hard, and a lot of people struggle to level up quickly and efficiently. They spend months toiling away at leveling up their jobs when the truth is there is a much easier way to do it.
After reading this Final Fantasy 14 guide, I discovered that I could level up a class pretty quickly just by spending an hour a day, 4-5 times a week doing my leves. It only takes about 8-10 weeks doing this, and you can do a few Behests in between your Leves to speed things up.
By playing 4-5 hours a week, you can actually level up all the way to the cap of level 50 in just 10 weeks. This may seem like a long time, but the truth is that this is about 50 hours of playtime, which is nothing considering how much time other people spend leveling up their jobs. I have heard of people spending as much as 500 hours to level up to the level cap – don’t be one of those people!
One way you can really speed up your leveling rate is by doing some solo leveling in the level 15-35 range. By level 15, your leves stop paying out nearly as much experience points and as a result, you don’t level as fast. However, by level 35, you can do the level 40 leves which often pay as much as 7500 SP depending on how fast you do them and what difficulty level you choose.
Be sure to invoke your Guardian’s aspect when doing your leves, as this speeds up leveling time much faster than you could ever think. You get about 50% more points from your Leves when you use your Guardian’s Aspect, so it is definitely worth doing. Players often think that this does nothing, but it is literally the difference between getting 4500 and 7500 skill points from a quest.
When you multiply 3000 skill points across all 8 quests that you can do per reset, you can see that this adds up quickly. You can earn an extra 100-200k skill points each week if you have the Guardian’s Favor to spend!
